Thanks to those that fished, donated, sponsored or contributed in some way to the Relay Open Tourney, We managed to raise $550.00 to help victims of cancer and their families with various expenses while undergoing treatment. I think we are going to move the relay tourney to late May or early June to see if that will help draw more anglers. I hope to have our full schedule up by late January.

THANX AGAIN,

Mark & Tina Choma

Anglers,

One regular season tourney left this coming Saturday August 27 at Salt Fork Old Marina 6am – noon. This is a make up for the tourney washed out in April. As for the results from Salt Fork last weekend, what can I say but, Congrat’s Justin on notching your first GCBA win!

The fourteen teams highlighted in yellow on the points standings page can make the championship. If you have fished five you will need to fish this Saturday to make the championship. I look forward to seeing you Saturday at the lake.

Anglers,

Congrats to Glynn and John on their impressive win Saturday at Seneca, biggest bag of the season at 13.17 pounds. While finishing second Saturday with the second biggest bag of the season at 11.30 pounds, Jeff and Dale also spring boarded into first place in the points standing and Anglers of the Year race. At this stage, we will be qualifying 16 teams for the Classic Championship in September. Remember, you must have fished 6 of the 8 regular season tournaments and finish in the top 60% of the field in the points standings to qualify. We now have two regular season tournaments left both at Salt Fork and both in August (13th and 27th). Who’s in charge of making out this schedule???

I hope to see all of you at the Relay for Life Open Tournament at Seneca (register at the ramp, shotgun start at 7:00am)and Kid’s Derby on the 30th.

Thanks Mark and Tina Choma for coordinating this event for a great cause.

Tight lines...

Brian
